I am writing this quick blog post for three reasons:
Create pressure for myself to pull through with this project
Maintain the habit of writing something on my blog
Let the reader partake in the development of the project
So, what is the project?
Over the last years we have done forecasting competitions with a group of friends. Essentially, at the beginning of the year make predictions and later check against them. I really enjoy making forecasts because it helps my get better at thinking/planning/understanding how little we know.
For day to day use I am building a little app with a low code platform (bubble.io) that does a simple thing: store a bet and the participants with a due date. Then, send a reminder when the date is due.
